pyIVLS is a fully featured measurement system written in Python. It is currently being used at two measurement setups at Aalto University to measure semiconductor samples. The system supports spectrometers, cameras, source-measure units, micromanipulators, Peltier elements and cryostats and incorporates more complex combinations of device functionality. With pyIVLS you can define a list of measurement points on the designed chip, automatically convert the chip coordinates to micromanipulator coordinates, move the measurement probes to the points and measure a whole sample with no human intervention.
Low level drivers for Thorlabs CCS series of spectrometers. The drivers enable using the spectrometers on Linux, a platform not officially supported by the manufacturer. As part of the pyIVLS project, I've also written a hardware abstraction layer for a cartesian micromanipulator system (Sutter instruments MPC-325)
A web crawler that builds a dataset of all HOAS apartments with price, location, renovation and other data. It build a visualization which is displayed on the page HOAS rent data.
The salad price tracker scrapes S-kaupat.fi for the prices of specific ingredients and generates the daily price for a kilogram of salad. The script runs on my home server and uploads a compiled html from the data to this website daily.
